Breetai wakes up bound to a wall with Khyron and a mechanical creature calling itself Ortu reveals it knows their tongue and tells his story. His ship was trapped by a planet's gravity and to survive, he and his colleagues transferred their minds to machines, but not he's the last one. Other species that came onboard were tested by Ortu but didn't survive, but now with the Zentraedi, he can use their bodies as they have a strong power. Breetai offers him Khyron's and says Ortu can't take it without the drugs on his ship as the Protoculture in his body will prevent it. When Ortu frees Breetai, The Giant reclaims his weapons and takes out Ortu, but more mechanical beings come after him as he frees Khyron and both escape. On Earth Clark Richter talks to Dr. Lang about the attack he survived and if it was the Knight of Knives. At night Roy sneaks into Gillespie's office and questions him about The Knight of Knives and if he is connected to it or the tape. Gillespie denies it but then a Sniper attacks the town and the Global Military Police take him down. Its the mysterious being from the SDF-1 calling for Zor and he keels over while asking for new orders in Roy's arms.
