The book is dedicated to the female character from the Neon Genesis Evangelion series. It consists of a collection of screenshots from the series along with some information about the characters. The book is divided into several parts, each dedicated to a character: Rei Ayanami, Asuka Langley Sohryu, Hikari Horaki, Misato Katsuragi, Ritsuko Akagi and Maya Ibuki. Notes are available at the end of the book with advertisements for figurines. Sketches from the Neon Genesis Evangelion Proposal document can also be seen in the book.
