Unfortunately, Spencer Smythe is killed in an explosion, and his son Alistair holds our hero responsible. Alistair extends the limits of his father's technology and creates a tro of new Spider Slayers. But this time the robot isn't out to capture Spidey, it's out to destroy him!
When someone tries to kidnap Dr. Mariah Crawford, it's Spider-Man to the rescue. But Kraven the Hunter misinterprets Spidey's intentions, and the three are caught in a deadly triangle. Kraven vows to begin his "greatest hunt" - for the man who has stolen his woman's affections! When a wild creature starts attacking citizens, the Wall Crawler assumes that Kraven is responsible.
