It's morphin' time when the Power Rangers confront their most menacing adversary yet! Zordon is forced to de-energize, a phenomenon that happens only once each millennium, and Alpha 5 is entrusted with the awesome responsibility of watching the Command Center. Using the viewing globe, Alpha 5 spies a lost boy and plays "Alpha Ranger" to rescue him, leaving the Command Center vulnerable. Meanwhile, Lord Zedd devises a plan of finally terminating the Power Rangers. Using his diabolical powers, he summons up the deadly Primator, a vicious and gigantic ape-like creature, giving it power to "morph" into any Power Ranger it chooses. While trying to save the lost boy, Alpha 5 is attacked by Lord Zedd's monstrous beast and activates his self-destruct system. Time is quickly running out as the Power Rangers must now battle the Primator and find their robotic friend before he turns into scrap metal.
